So I wrote this poem
a while back thinking about making
it into a song For my Band,But then again There seems to be
too many songs about zombie Love bleh…

It was True Once,
We walked Upon
the dewy Grass
to hold hands
and love eachother
as lovers can
while i got into his hotrod
we sped off into the night
holding eachother tight
there was something in the road
& right before my eyes
we lost control
and when i awoke
he was all, if not catatonic and cold
My eyes filled with water
tears spilling down my cheek
holding him close
feeling what used to be his heartbeat
what seemed more than
a few hours
and i still lay next to him
in the middle of the street
while all i felt was the cold breeze
In the dark of the night
My lover was dead…
Or so I thought
He looked Up at me
Quite Distraught
Reanimiated and alive
As I watched him Wide-Eyed
I couldn’t believe
When He stood up
limping, His flesh Falling
off on one side
From The Shatterd Glass
Yet, He didn’t seem to mind.
“What A bloody Mess”
Was all he said
Still shocked and Astonished
From what Just happend
He grabbed my hand
and told me
“it would all be alright”
And I’ll Love my baby Untill Thee end of time.
Even If he turned into a zombie that night.
